Audrey McMaster,
MHC-LP
Audrey is an empathetic therapist who believes that the catalyst for meaningful personal growth is establishing a genuine, supportive, nonjudgmental, therapeutic relationship. Her goal is to create an environment where the client can show up as their most authentic self and be met with compassion and acceptance. And as an experienced developmental researcher, Audrey integrates a developmental approach into her therapeutic style. She believes exploring a client’s early life experiences and relationships is integral in helping them identify the origin of their maladaptive thoughts and beliefs and begin challenging them.
Audrey utilizes a synthesis of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy to support her clients on a journey of exploration and reflection while concurrently building the client’s self-compassion and self-esteem. She strives to help clients better understand their identity, their most important values, and their core beliefs. Audrey is experienced in supporting clients struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship issues, self-esteem issues, life transitions, self-harm, dissociation, and mood and personality disorders. Together, you will gain insight and self-awareness and collaboratively set and work towards goals that align with your best, authentic self.
