Mia’s goal as a therapist is to provide a supportive environment, free of judgment, that encourages openness with emotions and thoughts regarding past and present-day experiences. Mia believes that there is no one size fits all in terms of therapeutic modalities and places an importance on building a strong relationship between client and therapist through an eclectic approach, utilizing techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Modification Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
Mia has experience working with adults with a myriad of life challenges including depression, anxiety, self-esteem, unwanted and maladaptive behaviors, and substance use. Mia aims to work alongside the client to provide the support needed and deserved while navigating the difficulties being faced. Mia aims to help foster a positive change in client’s lives, working towards fulfillment, safety, and healing.
