Julinda Velmishi,
MHC-LP
Julinda’s approach as a therapist is collaborative, compassionate, and guided by curiosity and
respect for each person’s story. Her interest is to create a liberating and emotionally safe space
where clients feel understood and seen, free to explore the parts of their story that have been
silenced, fragmented, or forgotten. She believes therapy is not only about change, but about
discovering meaning and connection within what is already unfolding. Julinda’s interest is in
working with individuals navigating transitions, displacement, and identity concerns.

Leaning on her own experience as an immigrant, she values both the differences and the shared
experiences that connect us all — the feeling of being a “foreigner,” whether to a culture, a
stage of life, or to oneself. She sees therapy as an opportunity to rediscover belonging within
one’s own story. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, and Person-Centered
approaches, Julinda helps clients reconnect with their strengths, language, and values. Her
work honors the courage it takes to seek clarity, and the peace that emerges when one’s
voice begins to feel like home again.
